Today I decided to see Tehran's sights from a different angle. Our bike ride started from Baharestan Square, on to Lalezar and ended in the Grand Bazaar. During the bike ride we saw historic houses, streets and much more. One of the places I stuck to was Saghakhune Ayene which was in Zahir_ol_eslam street. Saghakhune's history dates back to about 500 years and the oldest is from 1517 and is located in Yazd. From the beginning, this was used to give water to passers-by, but recently it became a holy place and the believers light a candle and pray for good. In Tehran there are about 290 Saghakhune and this is one of the most beautiful.
امروز تصمیم گرفتم که دیدنیهای تهران را از یک زاویه جدید نگاه کنم. تور دوچرخه سواری ما از میدان بهارستان آغاز شد، به میدان لاله زار و به بازار تهران خاتمه یافت. در طول دوچرخه سواری، از خانه‌هایی تاریخی، خیابان های قدیمی و خیلی مکانهای مختلف دیدن کردیم. یکی از مکانهای زیبا، سقا خانه آیینه در خیابان ظهیرالاسلام بود. تاریخ سقا خونه در ایران به حدود ۵۰۰ سال پیش برمیگرده و قدیمیترین سقا خانه‌ی ایران در یزد است که متعلق به سال ۱۵۱۷ است. کار سقا خانه در اوایل آب دادن به مسافران و رهگذران بوده، که به مرور زمان به مکان مقدس تبدیل شده، و در آنجا شمع روشن میکردند و نذر میکردند. در تهران حدود ۲۹۰ سقا خانه وجود داره، که سقا خانه آیینه یکی از زیباترینها در تهران است.
